Reliqua Reference Catalogue. Reliqua's coin-type reference catalogue contains information from Online Coins of the Roman Empire (OCRE), a joint project of the American Numismatic Society and the Institute for the Study of the Ancient World at New York University. It also contains information from Coinage of the Roman Republic Online (CRRO). All of these are made available here under the Open Database License (ODbL) 1.0. Specimen weights and diameters are derived from the ANS collection database (ODbL). Concept labels (mints, denominations, rulers) come from Nomisma.org under CC BY 3.0. Reliqua has corrected, combined and extended this data.
Catalogue numbers. RIC numbers follow the numbering system of the Roman Imperial Coinage series (Spink & Son), as used by OCRE. RRC numbers follow M. H. Crawford, Roman Republican Coinage (Cambridge University Press, 1974). CRRO acknowledges Cambridge University Press for allowing the use of the RRC numbering system. Reliqua is not affiliated with or endorsed by the American Numismatic Society, ISAW/NYU, the University of Oxford, Spink & Son, or Cambridge University Press.
